Each C3 canister is devoted to addressing a different set of harmful chemicals, heavy metals, chlorine, and over 100 additional contaminants. (Note: Contaminates removed varies based on the filter-set type, City Water filters chloramines, where as Well Water filters contaminates in well water)

Three Stages of Filtration

 

City Water:

• Stage 1: Activated Alumina.
• Stage 2: KDF-55/Super Carbon – Heavy metals, bacteria, sulfur, pesticides, and nitrates.
• Stage 3: Catalytic Carbon – Chloramines, bad taste and odor.

Activated Alumina – Addresses lead, and arsenic.
KDF/GAC – Addresses Chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, sulfur, pesticides, and nitrates.
Catalytic Carbon – Chloramines, bad taste and odor.

Well Water:

• Stage 1: Carbon Block – Addresses sediments, chlorine, chloramines, bad taste, odors, and more.
• Stage 2: KDF-55 / GAC – Addresses Chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, sulfur, pesticides, and nitrates.
• Stage 3: Granulated Carbon – Addresses chlorine, bad taste, and odor.

Activated Carbon Block – Removes odor, bad taste, chlorine, bleaches, pesticides and even smaller particles and chemical remains.
KDF/GAC – Addresses Chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, sulfur, pesticides, and nitrates.
Granular Activated Carbon – Removes odor, chlorine, bleaching powder, pesticides and chemical remains.
